Pact is a pioneering national charity that supports prisoners, people with convictions, and their children and families. We provide caring and life changing services at every stage of the criminal justice process: in court, in prison, on release, and in the community.
We can support children and young people who have a family member in prison, and offer guidance and resources for professionals and parents.
Having a loved one caught up in the criminal justice system can be a scary and confusing experience. We know that having someone to talk to who is impartial, empathetic and non-judgmental can be a huge help.
Pact runs the national Prisoners' Families Helpline, a free and confidential service which offers practical and emotional support, information and advice to anyone who is affected by imprisonment, in a straightforward, non-judgemental way.
