About this service

Disability Croydon exists to offer information, advice and support to disabled people and their families, on issues which affect their daily lives. Since developing in the Disability Croydon of today we have worked on numerous projects and initiatives to better the lives and increase opportunity for people living with disabilities.

How We Aim To Help​

  • ​Eliminate barriers and empower people living with disabilities to fully participate in society

  • To increase awareness of disability and other related issues

  • Promote independence for those living with disabilities​

  • Advise organisations on how to best support those with disabilities.

  • Assist and encourage disabled people to have a voice

Open six days a week with evening activities such as music production and physical exercises and one-one counselling.

We provide the following:
 

  • Information and advice / advocacy

  • Fitness and exercises for all ages using a fully equipped gym.

  • Digital training and empowerment using smartphones with access to computers.

  • Low-level mental health support (also connected to fitness programmes)

  • Art classes (therapy)

  • Weekly bereavement help point

  • Food distribution and support

  • Cost of living advice surgeries

  • Community Cafe open to all

  • Music production and DJ workshops for young people.

  • A welcoming space for the community to promote and develop their own activities.
