The Equity Partnership is a small team of staff and volunteers working to support Bradford’s lesbian, gay, bisexual and trans communities in a variety of ways.
We play an active role in developing our LGBTQ+ communities by supporting existing peer support groups and helping new ones to start through our community development work.
Our peer-led support groups include those for young LGBTQ+ people, and older LGBTQ+ people. All of our groups are referral only, please contact the admin email or phone our centre for more information!
We also frequently run themed events such as intergenerational events, quizzes and Saturday Cafes. You can find out what’s on at the Equity Centre by contacting us or viewing our social media.
We also offer a sign-posting service. You can find information on our website about various external organisations offering support and advice, or you can contact the office and we can help put you in touch with the people you need.
Equity Partnership is also a hate crime reporting centre. You can find out how to report a hate crime, and if you need help reporting we can support you through the process.
