Low Cost Counselling Service The Affordable & Accessible Counselling service offers low and no cost counselling services to ensure that everyone can access the support they need. Fees are reduced to make therapy affordable and accessible for individuals from all backgrounds. The lowest fee currently is £20. The initial consultation has a non-refundable fee of £60 if you are employed or £30 if you are on a low income or unemployed. Please call the office if you believe that the above fees are unmanageable due to your financial circumstances. Service users are usually offered 18 sessions of counselling which can be extended up to a maximum of 2 years. Service users can self-refer via our website. Multilingual Counselling Service The Multilingual Counselling Service was set up in 2004 as a response to the growing need for culturally sensitive, mother-tongue counselling for London’s refugee, asylum-seeker and migrant communities. Our service users are generally offered 12 sessions of counselling for free in their mother tongue. We have roughly 30 different languages we can offer to our clients and take referrals from across London. WCC also has contracts with Southwark and Lambeth IAPT to provide language counselling to their patients. Group work / Community Activities WCC also runs Meetups which is a monthly social get-together for a group of refugees and asylum seekers to take part in interesting activities and day trips around London. WCC has a monthly craft club for women which runs on Saturdays. Waterloo Community Counselling is registered with the ICO (Information Commissioner's Office. Member of the BACP.
