Home Treatment Teams East Lancashire support people living in the community, aged 16 years old or above who have moderate to complex or serious mental health problems across Lancashire.
The teams have various functions including assessment, gate keeping and a home treatment function as an alternative to admission. This also includes facilitating early discharge from hospital. We aim to provide a safe and effective alternative to in-patient care by helping people through times of mental health crisis in their own home environment.
We operate a 24 hour service.
Areas include the following, but this is not an exhaustive list:
Burnley
Pendle
Rossendale
Accrington
Ribble Valley
Blackburn with Darwen.
You can contact us direct. You do not need to have used any mental health services before or previously been diagnosed with a mental health problem.
Not only can you call us direct, but a friend, carer or family member can also call the team if they are concerned for your wellbeing.
You can also be referred by your GP, social care professional or a voluntary organisation.
