About this service

Grief can feel heavy, not just in your head and heart, but in your body too.

When experiencing grief and loss, we tend to hold everything together, often tensing up without even realising it.

Feeling the heavy burden of grief and pain, yet still soldering on while quietly struggling inside - does that sound familiar?

Let's explore how you can support both your mind and your body - I invite you to explore TRE (Tension & Trauma Releasing Exercises).

TRE offers a gentle, innate way to help your body as well as your mind to let go of some of that weight.

By guiding your body to release deep tension, you might notice shifts such as a bit more calm, better sleep, fewer aches and pains and moments of ease returning.

I’m Sylvia, a certified TRE Provider with counselling foundation training and I love this work because it reminds us how wise our bodies are – definitely much cleverer than we give them credit for.

You don’t need to talk about your loss or analyse the past, your brain is probably busy enough and constantly on.

In TRE we work with the body, not through words, so you can give your busy mind a rest.

And once you’ve learned TRE safely, it’s yours to use for life, whenever you need it.

If you’d like to explore whether TRE could be a source of comfort and support during this time, I invite you to get in touch for a fact-finding chat where you can ask all your questions and get to know me and my approach.

Of course, these calls are free and without any obligation whatsoever.

I want you to make the right decision for you.

I teach mainly online and I'm based in Ramsgate, East Kent, where I also teach in person.

You deserve moments of comfort and hope, even in the midst of loss and I’m here for you when you are ready to find out more.

Natural. Innate. TREmendous.
