AnxietyDepressionPhysical HealthTherapy
Our service offers psychological treatment for people living with epilepsy who are experiencing distress as a result of their condition and are willing to engage in psychological treatment.
We provide psychological therapy and cognitive assessments (memory and thinking skills). Like many health conditions, seizures can have a big impact on people’s lives and cause stress and emotional difficulties. Many people with seizures find it useful to work with a psychologist to develop helpful ways of coping and reduce the impact of their health condition.
If you would like any further information about Clinical Health Psychology (Neuropsychology) please contact the department on 01274 365176 between 8am – 4pm, Monday – Friday. Please leave a message on our answerphone if you are calling outside these times. (We use the BT text relay service for patients who are deaf or hearing impaired. To contact us ring 18001 01274 365176.)
Referrals are accepted from Bradford Teaching Hospitals’ consultant neurologists and clinicians from the Bradford Community Epilepsy Service.
