About this service
I am a fully accredited psychotherapist and counsellor based on the west coast of Scotland, offering support to children, young people, and adults. With over five years of experience in private practice—and a background that includes work in schools, care homes, and charitable organisations—I provide a compassionate, person-centred approach tailored to each individual.
My academic background includes a Master’s degree in Health Psychology, but my true passion lies in talking therapies, where I can offer a more relational, less clinical approach to mental health. I’ve supported clients through a wide range of challenges including anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, grief, neurodivergence (Autism and ADHD), and life transitions such as menopause.
I’m particularly passionate about working with children and young people and was proud to be named Child Counsellor of the Year for my work in this area. I also use Play Therapy techniques in face-to-face sessions with younger clients to help them process their experiences in a safe and creative way.
I offer a neuro-affirming, inclusive, and non-judgmental space where clients can feel heard, understood, and supported. Drawing from a blend of therapeutic models, I adapt each session to suit the individual—helping clients develop insight, resilience, and practical tools for change.
