About this service
If you are pregnant and live in a Sure Start area, we provide:
Ante-natal home visits – a member of our Health Team will call and visit you to support you with any questions or concerns and give you information on how they can help you after your baby is born.
Ante-natal classes – information and guidance at relaxed, fun sessions for you and a partner of your choice – bring your partner, husband, mother or sister, whoever will be supporting you during or after the birth of your baby.
Breast-feeding support and advice – either at a home visit or by arranging to meet with our Infant Feeding Coordinator, you can learn all you need to prepare you for feeding your baby.
We can also provide Teenage Ante-natal support – both individual and group support if your baby is due before your twentieth birthday. This service is available to all teens in the Coleraine area, even if you are outside the Sure Start wards/estates.
