About this service

This is a specialist inpatient mental health service for children and young people aged 13 -18 and their families based across West Yorkshire. Our aim is to help young people stay closer to their own communities while they are cared for, with inpatients being no more than 25 miles from home while they receive treatment. We work closely with the other CYPMHS (also known as CAMHS) teams across West Yorkshire to ensure that we provide the best possible joined-up treatment for young service users with complex mental health needs. We don’t accept self-referrals. We are a specialist NHS service and we only take referrals from community CYPMHS teams when a young person requires an inpatient admission.
