About this service

We support Black and Minoritised communities affected by domestic abuse including Forced Marriage and Honour based abuse. Floating Support Service for Black and Minoritised women and children - Are you a victim or survivor of domestic abuse, honour based abuse, forced marriage, FGM, rape or sexual assault and you need help with tenancy related issues in Birmingham? We offer: ​ Access to confidential, empathetic and non-judgmental person centred support to help with tenancy related issues including setting up accounts with gas and electricity suppliers, paying your bills, registering with local GP’s and any other support identified. Support to access information to help you understand your rights and make informed decisions. Access specialist counselling services and support for your children. Support from staff who have experience and expertise to identify risks and develop safety planning accordingly. Support from staff who can help you with things that may be worrying you like money and help you to seek job opportunities or apply for welfare benefits. Help you to understand your rights and options. Roshni Birmingham Free Confidential Therapeutic Counselling for South Asian Women Affected by Domestic Abuse - The service offers up to 5 weeks of counselling with an experienced therapist specialising in domestic abuse who is able to speak to you in English, Urdu, Hindi, Punjabi or Mirpuri. We provide safe emergency accommodation and provide community outreach support for women effected by domestic abuse. ***Our Office opening hours are Monday – Friday 9.00 – 5.00*** ***Our helpline is open 24 hours 0800 853 9777*** ***Our webchat is open Tuesday between 7pm – 8pm***
