Our vision is that more people leaving prison are empowered to transform their own lives, realise their potential, and escape the justice system for good. Our unique programme begins in prison with coaching and practical support and continues after release, for as long as someone needs us.
Each journey is individual, and leaving prison isn’t easy. It’s why StandOut provides one-to-one coaching and support that bridges the transition between prison and the community.
This support looks different for everyone. It can often focus on education, training, or employment. However, housing, recovery from alcohol and substances, issues with family, and difficulties with mental health are all challenges people we work with can face. Coaches support people through these challenges to achieve the stability needed to move forward.
