About this service

We work with young people who have been diagnosed with a neuro-developmental condition, including attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), autism spectrum disorder (ASD), or a learning disability. We are a friendly multi-disciplinary team who use a variety of well-established methods to assess your child to ensure they receive the right care and treatment. This may include interviews with the child and their family, clinical and school observations, cognitive and psychometric tests, and carrying out a detailed developmental history.

Depending on their needs they may be offered:

  • Talking therapy

  • Medical support

  • Psycho-education workshops for both children and their parents

  • Liaison and professional consultation with other agencies, such as education or social care

  • Behavioural support for children with a moderate to severe learning disability

  • Complex formulation work

  • Group based interventions.
