About this service

Are you living with bereavement or struggling to move forwards due to a loss? If so, you are invited to join our support group which is open to anyone in the community who feel they could benefit from meeting others and seeking professional, friendly support. Cindy Weller, a local resident of Ferndown, will be running our monthly support group. She can also offer one to one counselling if required. Cindy is a qualified accredited counsellor. She is a member of The British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and the National Counselling Society (NCS}. The group will be held on the 1st Monday of each month, 11 am-12.30 pm and situated in the private Rectory Classroom at the rear of St.Mary’s Church. Parking is available in the churchyard opposite. Booking is imperative as places are limited*. For more information or to book a place, please contact 01929 422445. Tea/coffee, as well as biscuits, are supplied and a listening ear and help when and where needed. *10 places available per session This group has been set up by the Douch Family of which James Smith Funeral Directors are the supporting branch for Swanage.
