About this service
We are a Community Interest Company providing therapeutic peer support services with a multi-disciplinary approach to adults diagnosed or self-identifying with the symptoms of Complex PTSD (Post-traumatic Stress Disorder).
Our Survivors Hub Project is dedicated to the provision of peer led therapeutic programs for adults who have experienced prolonged, repeated exposure to abuse in childhood.
Founded by survivors, our grant-funded services are peer led, and mainly serving the Bedford Borough and Bedfordshire-wide community.
We are committed to reaching a UK-wide client base and currently developing services with a broader reach.
Our NEW UK-wide online therapeutic program for Complex PTSD is now accepting registrations.
Moon Shadow is a new 6-month fortnightly online therapeutic program for women who self-identify with Complex PTSD or have received the diagnosis. It is aimed at women in the UK who have experienced a traumatic childhood and abusive relationships seeking connection within a supportive community and a safe space to share their journey.
Moon Shadow is here to help shed light on the shadows of the past, be witness to that which is seeking expression, without blame or shame. We walk beside you in those darker places, where difficult emotions and beliefs lie hidden or suppressed and help you understand patterns, be catalysts for change. Our Moon Shadow facilitators are shamanic practitioners and counsellors able to draw on ancient as well as modern knowledge and techniques for healing trauma and self-empowerment.
Start date: To be confirmed when booking numbers reach the minimum required to run the service. Sessions to be held on two week-day evenings per month.
Cost: £110 per month payable in advance. Read our Moon Shadow FAQ on our website for further information. Enquiries email: [email protected] or call 01234 637733 (Office hours Mondays to Wednesday).
