About this service
Mental health services across Bury are working together differently, to provide support in new and improved ways.
The Bury Living Well Service launched in January 2025 to help people get the right mental health care and support, in the right place, as early as possible.
Lots of local partners, people with lived experience and carers have worked together over the last few years to make services easier to access and more joined up.
The service is run by Pennine Care, Bury Council, BIG in Mental Health, The Creative Living Centre and Early Break.
It brings together experts from mental health, social care, primary care (GPs), housing, employment, substance misuse, people with lived experience of mental health and more.
Via your GP, you can easily and quickly be referred to the right professional or service for your needs.
You might receive support from one or more professionals at the same time.
