About this service
The Colchester Specialist Mental Health Team (CSMHT) and the Tendring Specialist Mental Health Team (TSMHT) provide assessment and treatment for individuals who are registered locally with a GP and experiencing a Serious Mental Illness (SMI). Each team covers each borough within the North East Essex region, Colchester and Tendring.
A dedicated duty service operating during working hours for individuals with an open referral to the Specialist Community Mental Health Teams who require urgent advice or crisis support.
Referral Information:
GPs and other professionals can refer via their Primary Care Mental Health Nurses or directly to the team via the Single Point of Access.
