Who are we?
Resurface is a community well-being service, offering lifestyle intervention programmes for ages 18+, involving weekly surf therapy, hot/cold sauna experiences, conscious movement and social events. People can be referred to our courses; as well self-refer, and Resurface is for anyone struggling with symptoms of mental distress such as anxiety, stress, depression, loneliness or any other symptom of poor mental wellbeing. What we do is centred on a sense of belonging, purpose, & peer support.
What do we offer?
We have a 'Local Retreat' for adults ages 21+.
Professionals and individuals can refer by filling out the referral forms on our website, to either of our two courses running from September 2024 - June 2025. Our programmes are run by a team of mental health and health-care professionals as well as those with lived experience, previously participating in Resurface. The courses are self-funded, however, we can subsidise the costs for those in need using funding.
