The Bexley Home Treatment Team (HTT) provides short term (two to three weeks) interventions for people in crisis. We work with people who may otherwise have been admitted into an inpatient ward but who we believe can be treated safely in the community.
How to access this service:
To access this service, you must:
Live within the Bexley catchment area
Be between the ages of 18 and 68
Have an address where you can be treated
Be willing to engage with Bexley HTT.
Bexley Home Treatment Team is a 24-hour service. The day shift operates between 8 am and 10 pm, seven days a week. The night shift operates between 9 pm and 8 am, seven nights a week.
We do not perform home visits at night. However, if service users need to be seen during the night, we may be able to arrange this, if safe to do so.

Mental Health Liaison Team
Crisis Line
Inpatient wards
Mental Health Hub
Other healthcare professionals
We do not accept self-referrals or referrals from family members.
We do not accept referrals for service users who are:
Without a fixed address
Live outside Bexley
High-risk and cannot be managed at home
Refusing to work with the HTT
We offer all new patients an assessment appointment to make decision if to accept or decline the referral.
