AnxietyDepressionPerinatal Support
Families and children thrive when fathers are involved with the care of their children. We seek to support fathers in this important role as a father. Father to Father is our mentoring programme that matches a trained father mentor with a father who may need support.
We aim to support fathers to maximise their potential, develop their child-centred engagement and interaction with their children, and promote their positive engagement in family life, through evidenced based programmes and tools.
Many of our fathers are facing particular challenges which includes:
Family conflict and relationship breakdown
Mental health
New or young fathers
Child contact issues/legal proceedings
Our Father to Father parent volunteers are trained and committed to supporting each father on a one-to-one basis. Weekly contact is between 2-3 hours a week, and is based on individualised support planning.
