About this service

The UHMBT bereavement service spans the final hours, weeks and months of a person’s life; as well as the actual day of death and services for grieving relatives. We have offices at Royal Lancaster Infirmary and Furness General and we are open Monday - Friday. Our bereavement nurses and staff are available to discuss issues and offer help and support over the phone. We provide this service with the backing of the families and community we serve, raising money to ensure the best possible assistance for families.
