About this service

The IRS is the access point into mental health services in the Fylde Coast. The service is for people who have a mental health concern. Referrals can be received from GP's, other professionals, self-referral, family/carer/friend/neighbour by free phone, or professionals will have been provided with the email address. The service operates 24/7 all year round and provides access to mental health advice and where necessary assessment in a timely way dependent on the urgency if the situation. There are 3 other teams that offer this service in other areas on Lancashire and South Cumbria.
