About this service
TDUT was established in 2011 in memory of Deborah Ubee, who lost her life to depression in 2008 after finding it difficult to access mental health services. The main vision of The Deborah Ubee Trust (TDUT) is to raise awareness of the value of emotional well-being, to offer early intervention and preventative therapeutic support to adults and children, and to promote good practice around therapeutic intervention. We work in a trauma informed way, offering specialist support in areas of Domestic abuse, sexual abuse and neurodiversity, as well as general emotional wellbeing.
Our aim is to increase resilience and independence and decrease stigma, poor mental health issues and isolation, in our local areas of Greenwich, Lewisham and Bexley. Adult services include: One-to-one talking therapies, Dance and movement therapy, Group work and support groups and Workshops and Courses. Children services include: Play therapy, Dance and movement psychotherapy, Talking therapy (for over 14s), Art psychotherapy and small therapy groups for children.
If you’d like to find out more about what we can offer, have a query, or would like to join our waiting list please don’t hesitate to get in touch.
