Advice and Guidance
We are a mental health charity run by a passionate team. Our mission is to advance the education, skills and quality of life of people through mental health awareness and access to training, work experience opportunities and also via our mental health films.
Our signature Mental Health and Wellbeing (MHW) training course explains what Mental Health is, the role of our brains, and how to spot the warning signs of Mental ill-health. We follow this up with our Mental Health Ambassador (MHA) programme, where we upskill volunteers to become MHA's in Schools and Prisons across the country. We know that people benefit from access to at least one peer in their setting, who will offer support and guidance through 1-2-1 discussions, spotting early warning signs and signposting to additional, third-party support.
One of the most impactful aspects of our work is the production of an annual film on a stigmatised mental health topic. We encourage individuals to participate, whether in front of or behind the camera. These films serve as powerful tools to raise awareness on crucial issues and ignite life-changing conversations that foster connections among people.
