Talking Heads Counselling
Closed
NeurodivergenceTherapy
Offers a safe, confidential space to talk with a qualified BACP Registered Counsellor number: 390400. Experience of working with clients with autism and ADHD, I also have seven years experience of working in education, understanding what behaviours are communicating.
As a sibling of an adult with learning disabilities, I draw on personal and professional experience to support clients social and emotional needs, supporting them to find different ways of coping with past, present and future life challenges. As a pluralistic counsellor, I draw on different therapies to identify what might help clients at different times within the sessions, finding strategies to support them between sessions, and also going forward after the therapy ends. Together we find creative ways to express and process overwhelming emotions, using talking, art, poetry, writing and planning (which can often be really helpful for practical challenges in life).
I am now offering face to face sessions as well as online and over the telephone.
