Hello, I am Tris, I am non- Binary and my pronouns are They/Them.
I have my own online private practice where I see clients exclusively from Gender Relationship and Sexual Diverse communities, including kink, polyamorous and sex worker communities.
Its a known fact that there is quite a cross over between neurodivergent and Trans/Non-Binary/Gender Non conforming communities. I provide a space in sessions where clients from non-normative communities can feel safe, held and not need to educate me so they can explore issues that are coming up for them right now.
I am a Pluralistic Therapist with a collaborative way of working as my clients are the experts in their own lives. People are unique individuals and so therapy should reflect that. Therapy should work for the client, the client shouldn't have to try to fit themselves into a therapy shaped box.
I hold a stance of anti-oppressive, trauma informed practice and am a member of the Radical Therapist Network. I am a member of the National Counselling Society NCS18-06311, am fully insured hold a BSc in Counselling, a PG Dip in Gender Relationship and Sexual Diversity Therapy.
