About this service

SOS Silence of Suicide is a local charity based in Warwick whose aim is to break the stigma, silence and shame surrounding mental health and suicide, with a national freephone helpline service (open every Monday to Friday (8pm to midnight) and over the weekends (4pm to midnight). We also offer free monthly group emotional support sessions at the Kenilworth Community Centre. This is a safe, welcoming space for anyone who: Is feeling overwhelmed or struggling with their mental health. Is worried about a loved one’s wellbeing. Supports someone through mental health challenges. Has experienced the heartbreak of losing someone to suicide. Each year on 1st May we host a Remembrance Day event for those who have been bereaved by suicide. Mobile Wellbeing Hubs. These are specially adapted vehicles that provide mental health support to people rather than the other way around. SOS advocates for compassion in society to encourage understanding, tolerance, and kindness. This also involves campaigning for social injustice, and addressing areas that contribute on an individual’s welfare and wellbeing.
