If you think you’ve been subjected to or are being offered so-called ‘conversion therapy’, or if you’re not sure, but would like to talk about your situation, support is available.
There are different ways to contact us. All of them are free and you can use them anonymously:
Galop’s National Conversion Therapy Helpline
If you’re experiencing abuse aimed at changing, altering, or ‘curing’ your identity, Galop’s National Conversion Therapy Helpline is here for you. So-called ‘conversion therapy’ can have long-term impacts on people. If this has happened to you in the past and you are still struggling with it, if you or someone you know is currently experiencing it, or if you feel like you, or someone else, might be at risk of it, you can reach out to us for support via phone, email or live chat.
Conversations will last up to 40 minutes but that doesn’t mean you can’t get in touch again on another day.
You can contact us by phone on 0800 130 3335 or you can speak with one of our advisors through our online chat in the bottom right of the screen.
