Our helpline is for LGBT+ people experiencing abuse or violence, such as hate crime, domestic abuse, sexual violence, so-called “conversion therapy” or any other kind of abuse. The Galop Helpline is here to offer you emotional support, provide information and can help you to explore your options, depending on your needs. The helpline can provide a safe, confidential listening and information service to any LGBT+ person aged 13+. How can I contact the helpline? There are lots of different ways to contact us. All of them are free: You could call us on 0800 999 5428. If you’re not able to get through straight away, you can leave us a voicemail with your contact details and the best time to contact you within our opening hours and we’ll get back to you as soon as we can. You can email [email protected] at any time. Our team are available via webchat, where you can also get support and information about your situation. Webchat is mobile friendly, so it doesn’t need to be on a computer. Alternatively, if you’re not ready to talk to someone yet, you can use our helpful chatbot to access information and resources.
