About this service

Carers’ Resource is a local specialist carer centre which provides support for young carers in the Bradford, Harrogate, Selby, and Craven districts of Yorkshire. Our Young Carers have found fun, friendship and support through the trips, mentoring systems, youth clubs and activities organised by Carers’ Resource. We provide a range of support to help young carers, including fun trips and activities in school holidays, youth clubs and one-to-one support. The service is designed to support young carers’ well-being and resilience, to help them achieve their potential as successful, happy adults. This service offers: • 1-1 Support around caring issues • Regular age appropriate youth groups • Regular trips allowing young carers to have a break. We support young carers aged 7+ in Harrogate, Selby and Craven and aged 5+ in Bradford district and Young Adult Carers (age 16-25).
